Spiritual Trip with my Friend (Palani).

Me and My Friend thought of visiting 12 Jyotirlingam, thought of exploring best way to accommodate the travel plan.

Our first decision to explore Madhya Pradesh to visit Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar because both in and around 200 km. So we can complete during our Weekend time.

Earlier myself and friend covered Rameswaram (Pamban,TamilNadu), Trimbakeshwar(Trimbak,Maharashtra) with our family.

There is lot of option to reach Indore like Train and Air.

We opted for Air travel to save our time. So we have booked IndiGO flight but direct flight bit costlier, so we have booked connecting flight, Chennai to Nagpur 21^st April 2023, Friday (Boarding Time: 5:05 PM and Departure 5:50 PM)  1 :10 hr layover in Nagpur and Nagpur to Indore on 21^st April 2023,Friday (Boarding Time : 8:00 PM and Departure 8:45 PM ) so total 4 hours 5 minutes. We had our dinner at Nagpur Airport itself and We have also reached Indore on time. 

We thought of taking Auto (Tuk Tuk) to Bus station to reach Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain Since we both have difficult in Hindi language. When we came out from Airport you can notice lot Auto rikshaw and Cab. We also thought of taking Cab to Ujjain if time became issue because its already 10 PM. We have approached few Auto drivers but some of asked bigger price, since we are new to city, we are clueless and finally one guy agreed for Rs.200/- to drop at bus station but he is looking for other as well. 

I am not comfortable with guy was looking for another Auto, he came started vehicle ask to sit and journey started, he started asking questions like where you from and where you going i am bit skeptical but i have told we are going to Ujjain to See Mahakaleshwar his reaction got changed he started your going to visit our Mahakaleshwar. 

He stopped us in the bus stand and he started saying from here you get bus we bit confused. He later saying "you didn't trust me, if you want, I can drop at Ujjain we bit surprised because from Indore to Ujjain almost 50 km. We also feel not safe but he stayed few minutes to convince us and he quoted Rs.1000/- for trip which we had earlier in mind in travel, I started negotiating him Rs.700/- he agreed with amount of Rs.900/- it was good deal on midnight that to 50 + kilometer with unknown city, we assumed auto driver native might be Ujjain so he is dropping on the go. it will be good deal both of us but surprise he came to drop us i asked why he said "You came to See our God" I feel bad myself because initial thought about Auto driver is not good but later he drove 50 kilometer drop, from start we are scared on drive because its national highway, we are using our google map to confirm he is driving to Ujjain only and i am pretty sure, he won’t get return journey passenger because its midnight 12:00. 

What to say "Mahakaleshwar with us " .City is active during night itself we had Gulfi ice wow ..Simply wow. This trip is not planned one. We thought of looking for Hotel since its already 12 PM we didn't get easily.

 we thought of walk round and find Hotel which close to temple but room is not good, We asked other option so he gave ground floor its big one at Rs.1700/- after negotiating since room alteration going but we are ok with the budget and we are close temple.

Chennai to Thiruchendur ,Coutrallam,Coimbatore on Car(Road Trip)

This is another wonderful journey covering Tamil Nadu on Road(Dec 2020)..

Due to Covid times travelling out quiet challenge but myself and my spouse have followed strictly government guidelines to stay safe during travel. This trip planned during December 2020.

Day -1, 27th Dec 2020 Chennai -Thiruchendur Murugan Temple

We have started our journey by 7 AM from our home town, Since I had already driven from Chennai to Thiruchendur Murugan Temple earlier for my twin daughters tonsure, So routes are comfortable, while we are crossing the Chengalpattu Bypass, We had seen big traffic due to Accident where two people spot dead because of speedy bike driving. It disturbed bit while driving, we had stopped for our breakfast at Villupuram(Hotel Arya Nivas) where almost 200 km crossed for our day 1 trip,NH32 roads are awesome apart from multiple tolls and we have stopped near Thoothukudi -Tiruchendur road because of sunflower plantations .We have stopped to take photo's  and some of other state cars also stopped to take photos most of location look so good like scenery location and we have reached the thiruchendur by 4 pm itself which is earlier on our plan. So we booked nearby hotel which is close to temple and we had dharshan same days itself with so much crowd(which is expected) even Covid period. Temple management had lot of restriction but still some people not ready to follow ..Once we had dharshan we went sea shore and had our dinner nearby hotel ..rava dosa and idili's are so good...

So Day 1 went with maximum time on car which covered almost 700+ KM done ,from Chennai to Chengalpattu Bypass traffic is more after NH32 routes easy to drive but one thing about NH32 which had lot of tolls and toll charges also high ;)

Day - 2 ,28th Dec 2020,Thiruchendur - Tirunelveli, Papanasam, Coutrallam

On our day 2,we started leaving the Thiruchendur earlier 7:30 AM to reach Tirunelveli, We thought of checking place called Mavadu(nothing special here), where we are not sure about location and where exactly located, with help of Google map try to explore but our bad Google map shown different place...we are exhausted with humidity and google map really routing hard directions. I mean instead of national highways it directing to state high ways which is narrow and small one which use to connect villages. Since exploring Mavadu took our half of the day, So we have skipped Mavadu to avoid wasting our time and routing towards Papanasam and we had reached by 4:45 pm at Papanasam Agasthiyar fall but police didn't allow us because of 15 minutes delay, So we had visited Papanasam Temple(Sivan temple) and started to Coutrallam due to Covid 19 issue no crowd at Coutrallam ..we though of staying close main falls most of Hotels are empty and bit scary to book room as well, Luckily we got room on road (Green Hills Villa) with descent price.

It was a religious trip with my mom on my Baleno Car after service done,  my friends warned about trip require's proper braking service because of Ghats journey..

We have a started at 6 AM from home,Since i was new to NH 75 i was driving slowely to double check with local people on my route .I have already save offline my route from Bangalore to Subramanya since i was traveling on the Ghats may my mobile network go on.

As per my friends suggestion i have traveled on the NH-75

Bangalore - Kunigal - Channarayapattana - Hassan - Sakleshpur - Subrahmanaya - Dharmasthala

NH 75 roads are four lane with tolls,My friends suggested to stop over Tatta idly shop but my mom was not keen at early 7 AM , so i have stopped at UPsouth Highway restaurant, where we had breakfast by 8:10 AM at its OK OK with nice atmosphere with good and clean rest room.

Bangalore to Kukke Subrahmanya and Dharamsthala

Road's are really good till Hasan, After Hasan there plenty of Big Tree's cutting to expand the road,Hassan to Sakleshpur slightly have to be careful . Since Sakelshpur had lot of Coffee estate. Try to stop and have Coffee or Buy Estate Coffee powder.I suggest to take break here because Ghats driving quite challenging because of Tanker's and lorries which use to carry GAS/Petrol from Mangalore. I have reached Kukke Subrahmanya by 11:10 AM.  I have checked the Temple Trust Lodge's . But all the information on the hoarding will be in Kannada language it might be good if they kept in English as well. Some what i got the room and we kept few thing in the room ,we left to temple since Kukke Subrahmanya temple will be closed by 1:30 PM. So we went but huge crowd. it took 1 hour to see Subrahmanya for 2 minutes.

We had our Lunch near to temple average food,After food we have started to State High ways from Subrahmanya to Dharmasthala Manjuthaesware temple which is 53 km from origin . while traveling from Subrahmanya to Dharmasthala i felt i was traveling in Kerala village most of them similar atmosphere , I have reached Dharmasthala by 3 PM,But temple will be closed by 2:30 PM. Climate is really Hot and  to much dehydration because of weather.

Even from Bangalore to Dharmasthala weather was hot and humidity.

Dharmasthala Management Board kept information to tourist or devotee in English/Tamil/Kannada/Hindi should be appreciated.

We have gone through common queue dharshan which is opened by 3:30 PM and big queue you have to cross to see the Manjuthaeswara swamy came out by 5 pm and started return to Kukke Subrahmanya, Sowthadka Sri Maha Ganapathi Temple was there which his 18 km from Dharmasthala.

I have took SH 37 from Dharmasthala to Kukke Subrahmanya which is state road.

I have reached Kukke by 7 pm and we have stopped near to temple to buy for our family member..most of the toys much expensive and my friends told to have food at temple,me and mom thought of trying there even i can see lot wealthy people also standing in the queue, really good sign from the devotee and appreciate the temple trust for this.

Second day early morning by 6:30 am visited to local river(kumaradhara river) really clean and went to temple though its Sunday  very less people  so we had quick dharshan by 9:30 am we checked out from the lodge.

I have reached my Home by 2:00 am,though climate his hot and my mom had divine experience .

How to Reach Gangtok(Sikkim) from South India.

Bangalore to Gangtok - UP ....Gangtok to Chennai - Down...more then 6000 km on 10 days at Rental Car(Ritz) covering 12 states of India.

Before starting,I have to admit,I am not good narrator,this my first blog about my trip to share with you all,so forgive any grammatical mistake or spelling mistake..Just sharing our experience and also this trip  is adventurous and risky trip too,So plan your trip with some more knowledge on Climate and weather.But its life time experience for us which Covering 12 states ,Each state have a unique culture and different language  and second language is English on National Highways. Hindi is not must for exploring this trip..except madhya pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

Me and Vijay started from Bangalore on 26th Aug at 5 AM, Since it's first day we want to drive a vehicle as much we  both can on NH44. Our stepney tyre was punctured one on vehicle handover itself,So we have a been told to stop some local shop do by our own.So we stopped at Kurnool by 9:30AM and took two hours for puncture,wheel balancing and alignment  and next destination we have stopped for a lunch at Hyderabad(wifi bawarchi) by 2:00PM...yes your are right..we had briyani only ;) .

We have a been driving night  to stop at Nagpur(Maharashtra)but border road are so much damaged. So it stopped our speeding ...ya i forget to say ..our vendor have rule  speeding of violating 120 km/hr we have to pay Rs.500/- even as responsible driver..we didn't touch anytime at speed of 120 km/hr..But its very difficult to limiting speed of 100  km/hr till NH 44 lane..

We have checked into Nagpur by 11:00 PM crossed by 1100 km and check into room no 107 ...you may ask me ..why i am saying ..please be patient go through.

Day Second(27th Aug) starting with great hope.since we have covered first day 1100 km..we thought we will reach Varanasi by end of the day.

Since we have been travelling on NH 44..so we have to travel on the bhander forest and Tiger reserved tourism,really difficult part to cross. Later we have to start journey on NH 34 and NH 30...i never called its national high way..its village road...worst part road at Jabalpur, I have stopped at local dhabba shop for Tea..pure milk  Tea..please try  while travelling on these part of area,one good thing i have a crossed Narmada River..

We have a stopped at 10 PM checked into REWA RAJ VILLAS at rewa(Madhya Pradesh) got room no :107 only, I have  a really tired because of road condition because we have to keep changing the gear but Dinner from Hotel so good.I have tried panner stuff i am not able recollect the name ...Garlic naan/Butter Naan really good.

Day Three(28th Aug),NH 135 Road's are better then NH34 but one thing to be careful..cow's are sitting on national highway ...Once we enter to Utter pradesh close to RTO  by 7:30AM ....We have been stopped by RTO appointed local people...We are very much aware they have stopped because of MH registration...But they are trying to find the reasons to threat us. Yes they found our vehicle registration number only three number instead of four digit number.we have been threaten by local..apart from Hindi..no one speak other language. We have a been asked to pay 3000/- Rs .i have asked vijay to empty the wallet..i was negotiating with my own hindi to local people and few minutes later police people came.some what i have negotiated to Rs 1500/-  but i have told , i have to withdraw from the ATM.so they sent local people along with vijay..our lucky there ATM open by 10 AM only..so police ask to pay how much we have..so we have paid Rs.300/- we have been stuck more then 1:30 hour made scared us. Even vijay was tensed because police acting like these, how others people react. I have asked vijay to take pic but is not ready to step out from car because those areas are Maoist hit area. But i have forced him to take  few clicks ..

It might be another 60 KM for Varanasi ...we have to cross one bridge where Ganga River flowing so much fast ...It made us to think how worst affected by Varanasi. Very worst road  those sixty kilometer..we have reached Varanasi by 2 PM..Really Varanasi worst affected because of Ganga River. But i want click on Ganga river view of KASI..There are 87 Ghats in Varanasi are riverfront steps leading to the banks of the River. But i am not able to see those Ghats because of danger level flow of Ganga River. Even police stopping religious activities in Ganga...But luckily we got one local boy..He told he will take to certain level of Ganga river.Since so much force in the river.He struggled to boat as well. I really feel blessed boating in Ganga River and getting blessing of  Kasi Vishwanth Temple.

We really had  hard day to come out of Varanasi,such density area..Driving Car is very difficult. Once again we have been stopped in the Signal like morning ..police trying to find reason to get bribe..They asked pollution Certificate,i have said vehicle not yet completed year,Since we are so tired,if u seen my selfie clicks,it will clearly tell you how much dehydrated,i haven stopped for hour and i don't have choice rather then paying Rs 500/- really got irritated and tensed ...I have asked vijay to book hotel out of city but luckily we got Hotel Rivera palace at Varanasi city..once again we got room no:107...ambiance really good..

Day Four(29th Aug),We are very badly want to leave Varanasi before normal traffic starts,We have started AH1 and NH 19  roads are really good after two days. those roads connecting Delhi and kolkata..we are crossed Bihar  and Jharkhand and had our lunch at dhaba on the highways ...you cannot find any hotels those area..so better stop at dhaba if your at national highway. After 550 km travel we have reached Suri (West Bengal) and check into superb ambiance hotel Bequest inn room no:107 once again. past four days we got room no:107...we never asked any rooms specifically ..on fourth day we have crossed touch four state's.

Day Five(30th Aug),West Bengal...Such populated and well developed state ..where you can find most passengers are travelling on top of the bus/van. Even state highway road is good one..on road both side it had agriculture land ...very much happy to see green paddy.But local people wont respect the National High way ..most of local vehicle parked at national high way, we have to be careful.One more thing WB assembly passes resolution to rename state as Bangla,Bengal though opposition party opposed but it was passed on the assembly..this also cherish in our mind. Since the place very close to Bangladesh and Muslim population area we can see every 2 kilometer there stop board and CRPF,Police there..

We have stopped at malda for our lunch ...which is really not good most expensive too..we started driving, Because of google map..we have been diverted shorter router which close to Bangladesh Border..Even most of Muslims look like south Indian because of physical appearance and way of  living very close to South Tamil Nadu Muslims ..

Finally we have reached Siliguri.. we got check into RAJDARBAR Hotel....Here we got different Room no ..Siliguri is big city which we didn't expect,Lot of Big Hotel presence of Sikkim and Darjeeling Tourism.Even somebody planning for Darjeeling or Sikkim can stop at Siliguri for they stay and you can find so many transport for both destination.

Day Six(31st Aug),We have started to Gangtok(Sikkim) and need to drive on NH10  almost 120 km. We had our Breakfast on the Hill area...momos from Tibetan Hotel....really soo good :) .Before entering to the state.We have to stop and show our Indian Identity proof to Security force.

Small City(Gangtok) which had all administration located there. But well maintained traffic by police ..Even people also follow the traffic rules..which i never seen any other state's really good. Such small city but well planned city.

Unforgettable day in my journey...

Day Seven(1st Sep), Darjeeling made us lazy to wake up from bed,Since we thought of purchasing local Darjeeling Tea for our family. We both awakes and roamed in and around to find the Tea. We went to old market(mahakal tempel) which is recommended by local people .We bought  some of the Flavors of Darjeeling.Even i have tired a cup of Darjeeling Tea so good.

We had plan getting down from Darjeeling through Nepal,Which had more Natural view,So we have taken long route,Even most of hairpin was covered with fog,so we are started driving slowely but we are unlucky because mist and fog full covered ..we cannot see the view.  I was got Airtel Nepal welcome message activation on my mobile, we have been stopped by west bengal police..just normal check near to border ..we have stopped for money and locals also stopped there for the document check,Cop was asked to wait and it went thirty minute,Later cop was called checking us,i have  told i was coming from Bangalore and he said ur coming so far away go safely...some what we are lucky  ..some where we got diverted because GPS doesnt work properly..though we touched Pasupathy temple and came down to siliguri via Gurkaland..we have refilled the fuel on way to Siliguri ..even we had taken the pollution certificate because of UP police torture, but it  saved us further stops..we have stopped by local traffic police close to Siliguri..I have the shown pollution certificate first...so no more further check :).we decided stop by Malda(WB) which is 220km for way Since NH12 was a good one,  But unexpected heavy traffic on NH12 which made all vehicle stand for close to five kilometer and we also clueless about things but one local guy told short cut...and it was around 10:30PM, it will be difficult to get at Hotel after .so i started driving in night till 2:30 AM early morning. Asked vijay to sleep for some time.

Day Eight(2nd Sep),Vijay given me break because of night drive ..he started by 4 AM..we are lucky crossed the islampur and other density area at night itself to avoid traffic and people crowd  ...but National Bandh supported by state ruling party..so every where  TMC party people gathering and grouping  from 30 to 50 people to protest  on the motor bike ride with Big stick...we take on State Highway to avoid city traffic reach Kolkatta and road was really so good as like national highway. Road's are empty and i have notice few police on junction and TMC party people protest.I have stopped vehicle at one remote village to try sweet's before touching Kolkata,Yes,i have a tried WB famous rasgulla, gulbajamun and samosa..it cost not even 40 rupees and tasty too.

we have started on the state highway and both side green paddy as i mentioned on the fifth day.Agriculture is very strong in West Bengal..I have stopped around 11 am...taken bath at motor pump water which is flowing for the agriculture land ;) ..earlier i did in my primary school time at my father village.. 

Around 2 pm stopped on Highway AH1 Dhaba had our lunch..we just crossed Howrah Bridge by 4 pm next stopped at 6 pm at ODISA RTO to take Entry permit...But Lorries standing for 2 kilometer slowly moving..really feel pity for the lorry driver because of RTO's attitude towards on the each state.

We thought stopping at Cuttack or Bhubaneswar to stay hotel..But we are so tired since driving continuously and hungry to so we  had our dinner at dhabba on NH16...we stopped at 11pm before 60 km to Bhubaneswar one normal lodge.

Day Nine(3rd Sep), Starting day with blessing of Lingaraj temple (Bhubaneswar) after driving 60 km a day. Old temple and Heritage site  its controlled by Central Government, It can be maintained better as well ..had our breakfast idil and vada near to temple at local shop...very cheap one and good too. after entering to Andhra ..we stopped for our lunch at Andhra meal but veg since its saturday.

Around 4 pm ..reached Visakhapatnam had tea,so much traffic,so didn't enter to city using NH16/AH45 ..we have stopped once again Highway Dhaba for dinner around 8:30PM, I have crossed Godavari River at Rajahmundry around midnight with so much tolls and roads are good to drive fro for night driving and i was keep driving and crossed Krishna River at Vijayawada and around 1 AM.

Day Ten(4th Sep)...continues without break of last night  because of  Ganesh pooja on 5th Sep, I have to be at home because of my mom request..early morning crossed Ongole and Nellore  before to Tamil nadu border we have stopped for Tea to refresh for another 130 km.we stopped at Gummudipoondi Tamil nadu entrance for RTO,Only State RTO know about self driving car without our explanation they issue the state permit ,Reached my Home in Chennai around 10:30 AM  completed goal.

Happy we reached our Target earlier as we have planned and I have celebrated Ganesh pooja with my five month twins daughter. Happy Ending with lots of memories and cherish my life time.

EAST COASTAL TRIP(Chennai -Rajahmundry-Papikondalu Hills-Bhadrachalam-Vizag-Puri-Konark)

India is wonder ...every state had is own culture and tradition and beautiful places...If you born in India try to explore Indian State's as much you can !!!!!

Let me start my travel journey itinerary ... which is scheduled on August 30th - Return to home town on 4th September 2014.


I thought of exploring the East cost trip  (Chennai -Rajahmundry-Papikondalu Hills-Bhadrachalam-Vizag-Puri-Konark).

On 30th August 2014. I had started my rail journey from Chennai 7:55AM to reach Rajahmundry Railway station. Since i had reached at 7 PM and also new to the place. I thought of booking the hotel nearby . I got Iswharay hotel with cost of Rs.600/- and i had checked about the Boating package with Reception  and they called Maruti tourist operator and given to me. I had checked about package for two days..since they need minimum four people for two day package.So i don't have choice,i have to go for one day package. Package is consist of 65KM journey in the Godavari river and drop at Bhadrachalam .Bhadrachalam is holistic place where  Lord Rama and Seetha spent 16 years as per Ramayana.

On 31st August,Sunday at 7 AM i started from hotel and  much excited trip for the Boating at Godavari River.So i had taken auto to Godavari bridge which is cost of Rs.50/- where you can find lot of operator providing different package..which almost same price...from godavari bridge. Since i already booked Bhadrachalam drop package. Godavari river road where lot of different tourist operator there...so i thought walking on street,where i had find lot of temple..i thought of checking architecture ..All operator had tie up with another vendor who run this service. Bus came at 9 am..where everyone boarded and it take 1 hours journey on the bus to reach the boating point. Already boat is waiting with bunch of  people. While entering they will serve breakfast once you boarded you can drop your baggage on the ground cabin and if you wish to go top..where some boat people will do entertaining things but one thing they do the event in the Telugu language.

Boating covers almost on godavari river where they serve you lunch. really papikondlu hills and boating you will surely feel happy and some people may be feel tired also. once you reach papikondlu there is Bamboo huts and reserve forest where local tribal will sell the bamboo articles.

If your planning for bhadrachalam drop then they will shift another local boat my lucky day its raining :).  After 30 minutes of small boat trip then will shift to another bus to reach bhadrachalam on road where you can cross godavarai and sabamarathi river merging point :)

We reached Bhadrachalam at 8PM where every where raining.So i thought of staying night there and seeing Lord Rama and seetha for getting blessing in morning . Around 6 AM visited temple and around 8.30 i got bus from APSRTC bus stand to reach vizag that is my next place.

Reaching Vizag : Bhadrachalam to Vizag bus travel oh my god(OMG) ...How beautiful hill.Still some places doesn't have electricity facility....Bus journey was horrible...but nature wonder is awesome..you can find lot of tribals....you can find of some of  falls ...seriously...this things will keep cherish and remember in your mind forever.

There is two driver in bus and they both use to exchange driving since its long distance and  they dropped for lunch in top of the hill except bus people no body there in hotel...i believe we can count people strength may be close to 300 people max in the village..where bus drivers only get free non-veg food because passenger...started to reach vizag. where driver shown three new telugu movie....

Reached the vizag at 8 PM and i was checking the APSRTC bus enquiry people about local sight seeing  no proper response..I had tried online since only 3 tickets booked online.. i am very much sure it will be cancelled. i booked nearby lodge and then checked APSRTC online support they given some contact number to call morning. so i had called early 7.30 AM he asked me to call back 8 . i am sure its going to be cancelled. I had prepared myself to travel by own to cover most of the places.

I had called around 8 am to aprstc travel team person said package was cancelled. So i took local bus where it goes simachalam hills., I asked one day pass which is Rs.70/- but its not worth. Vizag is not big city which i am assumed. Most of the placed covered in the single bus.

In Vizag my first place was Simadari...it also one of  most visited place for hindu's . once i got  dharsan and blessings and i got down from hill. And i have took the bus to Kailash hill... since there is no direct bus from Simadari to Kailash hill. you have to stop and take auto check for the Kailash hill point. where you can robo car and beach and hill which had tourist attraction place called Kailash hill seriously you can spend 3 hours max..its really good place to spend half day there once you got down you can see RK(radh krishna beach) and vizag park and submarine museum and finally purchasing and then i had reached the bus stand back to lodge.

Vizag to Puri(odissa): I already booked the train from vizag to khurda road on 2nd sep  11.55 PM. since i had exhausted with bus journey on yesterday.Train reached exact time and its arrived puri at 7.30 AM. on 3rd sep 2014 I need to reach puri as per my plan, once you reached Khruda road junction  i was looking another train to reach puri. i had reached puri around 10.45 am ...before reaching puri..raining in puri...once you come out of puri station you can find lot of local taxis. one of  odissa person told me that i need to visit puri beach and take bath and then visit Sri Jagganath temple and communication also big problem in odissa.very very few people speak English. Puri beach nearby you can find the budget hotels from there you can take rickshaw which is almost 1 kilometer. Since Sri jagganath Temple one of must visit place for Hindus and its protected with lot of security guards. Mobile phone and camera is not allowed, after dharsan. My next dream place is konark sun temple.

But transportation is really challenging job. I luckily got small size van. It took one hour journey. once you reach konark you need to take auto which they charge you Rs.40. Konark sun temple is one of the archaeological listed place in India. you can take entry pass .if you like take guide pay not more then Rs.100/- depends how you negotiate with them ;)

if you photo lover...your camera surely make you to click more then 1000 clicks. Konark sun temple is really example to outside world. Lot of sex  sculptures its show how Indian are advanced in the sex education as well sculptures art those are awesome..i forget to mention earlier...Most of Hindu temple may be hidden there.....

Finally biggest drawback about transport,  i need to return to khruda road junction which is close to bhuvanswer where there is no frequent transportation .konark sun temple to khruda road close 60 kilometer. I dont have choice going for auto .So i took auto after long negotiation auto driver accepted for Rs.550/- Since its raining auto went slow .. my train was at 7.45pm .So my heart-beating like anything...But luckily i got my train to reach vijayawada its already booked but my destination chennai. So i have to travel on train with unreserved ticket. luckily shalimar express reached vijaywada at 8.30 AM ...9 AM there is navjeevan train to reach Chennai. i took on cooli guy for one seat..So he helped me to got one seat and he asked Rs.50/- i had given happily because its 8 hours with unreserved compartment life tough ...reached Chennai 4.05 PM...

Really wonderful EAST COST TRIP...lot of memory will be cherished....

Trip to Puducherry

Chennai to Puducherry(Pondi) VIA ECR :)

Chennai : Start time 1:30 PM(2/8/2014)

ECR road ....while touching ECR road(Uthandi Toll Plaza). If target is Pondi you can pay 47 Rs.So you know need to pay,while touching pondi toll :).

ECR road is full of fun and WEEKEND place.So if you are planning on WEEKEND there will be traffic... You can see all luxury cars ;) with awesome speed...so be careful too..

9. Awesome Mahabalipuram...must spend 1-2 hrs there.
10. Kalapakkam(you can have cup of tea or juice).
11. Marakanam.
12. Pondi..(welcome you with Arch)reached 4.30 PM.
13. Manakular vinayager temple.
14. Aurobinda asharam(visit with short troushers).
15. Pondicherry beachs(Near by aurobinda asharam,Promenade,Paradise Beach,Serenity beach,Auroville Beach).

Since Pondi(Puducherry) is known for foreigner most visiting place..always book earlier...getting stay in Pondi in weekends will be difficult.. We stayed at Satya hotel..it was decent but no parking..so we parked outside..where most of vehicle parked on road...you can explore lot of hotel nearby.
